Standard Description of the Spanish Llarguet Canary Position Erect. Standing at an angle of 60º Body Well elongated, slightly cylindrical in form, slender. Breast Narrow, slim, showing no roundness. Back Narrow, slim, showing no roundness. Wings Very long, carried close to the body, without crossing. Tail Very long, narrow, with fork-shaped ending. Size Minimum 17 cm. Head Small, oval. Beak conical and proportionate. Neck Of medium length, slim, showing separation of head from the body.. Plumage Short, smooth, compact and close fitting to the body. Colour All colours are allowed, colour-fed included. Legs Long, slightly angled, well feathered thighs to be visible. Condition Clean and healthy, well used to the cage.

Furthermore the wrong size of the ring, a dirty bird or cage, as well as characters on the cage are reasons for an exclusion.
